Q: Are the age guidelines for your classes
strictly enforced?
A: The age guidelines for each class
are just that – guidelines. You know your child better than we do. Many of the
activities in the older aged classes are based on developmental skills that may
not be present in a younger child. Please reference our Music Programs page,
then call us so we can help determine the appropriate age level for your child
if there is a question in your mind.

Q: My child is very active, and may not sit
still for a 45 minute class. Will the Kindermusik curriculum work for us?
A: Our classes are all designed to be
developmentally appropriate for the various age ranges described, and the
classes are a combination of singing, games, movement, and playing instruments,
so there’s not a lot of “sitting still” required. You might also enjoy this

Q: My older children have a school holiday on a Kindermusik class day. Can
I bring them to a Village or Our Time class?
A:
Yes, older siblings are invited to join us on these days when
they are not in school. They must be aware that the class is for their baby or
toddler sibling, and while they are invited to participate, they should not be
disruptive or take away from their sibling's class experience.

Q: I have to miss a class for a doctor’s
appointment. Can I make it up?
A: If there
is another time during the week that the same class is offered, you are welcome
to come to that class. Just
let us know ahead of time that you’re making the switch for that week.

Q: What happens if class is cancelled due to
inclement weather?
A: If the weather prevents us from
holding class (you’ll be notified by e-mail at least one hour prior to class),
we will make the class up at a time that’s suitable for the majority of people
in the class.

Q: I'm still not sure about enrolling?
A: It's pretty normal to
be hesitant about something new! But 99% of Kindermusik parents would
recommend the program to other parents. You might resonate with some of the
questions in
this
short video.
