Becky Douglas, owner and educator

MusikFUNdamentals is an early childhood music and movement program provided by Becky Douglas, who has been licensed as an educator by Kindermusik International since 1999. A vocalist and pianist, Becky has been sharing her talent in churches, community music groups and amateur theater for 35 years. She studied music at Illinois Wesleyan University and went on to receive an MBA from Illinois State University. She currently directs the Children’s Music Ministry at Wayne United Methodist Church.

Becky has been bringing music, movement and the love of singing and playing instruments into the lives of children and their families for the past 15 years. At MusikFUNdamentals, she teaches age-appropriate Kindermusik classes for children from birth through 6 years of age. For the older kids, she also teaches private piano lessons and Music Makers at the Keyboard, an introduction to the keyboard that uses an aural approach in a classroom setting.

Linda Jeffers, Violin & Viola teacher

Linda Jeffers (violin, viola) received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Conservatory of Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, and has studied with members from both the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestra. Along with numerous years of teaching experience, she is also an active performer, playing with the Main Line Symphony, Providence Chamber Orchestra, and Providence String Quartet. She has played for many community theater musical productions and performs regularly for services at the Wayne United Methodist Church. From the development of technique, musicality, and an understanding of theory through studying many styles of music, Linda strives to help students acquire a life-long passion for playing music.
